1. Accreditations
You will be able to pick up your accreditation at the Infopoint (next to the playing hall) if you arrive on Saturday 26th March before 21:00. Players who will arrive later, will need to confirm their arrival time via the official email address: euroindividualchess22@gmail.com. These players can pick up their accreditations at the Infopoint on Sunday 27th March from 9:00 to 10:00.
PLEASE NOTE: PLAYERS WHO HAVE NOT CONFIRMED THEIR PARTICIPATION BEFORE SATURDAY 21:00 MAY NOT BE PAIRED FOR THE FIRST ROUND.
2. New Health protocol:
All participants and the tournament staff are required to take a Rapid (Antigen) test provided by the Organising Committee before the first round on 27th March. There is an exception for whom has a negative test (Rapid/PCR) at arrival that is not older than 48 hours. All participants must present their negative test on 26th March to the organisers at the Infopoint (next to the playing Hall). If they do not present a negative test, they must sign up for the next day’s tests, scheduled between 8:00 and 13:00 (tests on 27th March will be free of charge), which will be held in Hotel Terme (Hall A). Players who arrive on Sunday 27th March will have to present a negative test at the Infopoint between 08:00 and 13:00.
Additional tests for participants are not required. There is an exception in case the tournament Medical Staff decides on an additional Rapid/PCR test in special cases, such as symptoms or tracing of close contacts (of a positive case), and according to the Slovenia health legislation.
Recommendation:
It is strongly recommended to all National federations to have a test (Rapid/PCR) for their delegations one day before departure (vaccinated or not vaccinated members of the teams).
3. Technical meeting
The technical meeting will be on 26th March at 21:00 at Castle Brežice, after the official opening ceremony. Transportation will be provided by bus, which will run from 19:00 until 23:00 onwards from Terme Čatež (bus point – see MAP) to Brežice Castle and back (8 min. one way). 4. Opening Ceremony
All participants are welcome to join the opening ceremony on 26th March at 20:00 at Castle Brežice (address: Cesta prvih borcev 1, 8250 Brežice). Transportation will be provided by bus, which will run from 19:00 until 23:00 onwards from Terme Čatež (bus points – see MAP) to Brežice Castle and back (8 min. one way). After the opening, you are invited to the courtyard of the Castle for music and refreshments.
