The first moves were played and the Championship has officially started. A short opening ceremony for the players with speeches of ECU President Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili and Slovenian Chess Federation President Mr. Milan Brglez announced the start of the first round. The chief arbiter Ana Srebrnič explained the rules and invited Mr. Azmaiparashvili to make the first ceremonial move on the first board. We wish all chess players best of luck.
