In today’s fourth round the Icelandic grandmaster Kjartansson took the first place winning against the German Svane. Most of the game he was in a subordinate position, but in the endgame he turned the position in his favor. The Icelander collected all 4 points, which is the biggest surprise in the tournament so far, as he is only 133rd in the ranking. There are 16 players in the following group with 3 and a half points each. One of the main favorites David Navara drew for the second time and has 3 points.
